6 Inches

So there's this fish. He's swimming in a pond when he looks up and sees this fly buzzing around above the water. The fish thinks to himself, "hmm, if that fly comes down just 6 inches, I can jump up there and have myself a nice little meal."

Off in the distance a bear spots the the fish. The bear thinks to himself, "man, if that fly drops 6 inches, that fish will jump out of the water, and I can grab him up and have myself a nice little dinner."

Up in a tree stand sits a a hunter eating a cheese sandwich. The hunter notices the fly buzzing above the water. The hunter thinks to himself, "man, if that Fly would just drops 6 inches, that fish will jump up out of that pond, and that bear would move into target range and I would have myself a nice little dinner. "

There's a mouse watching the hunter, and he thinks to himself, "man, if that fly drops 6 inches, that fish will jump out of the water, the bear will go after the fish, and the hunter will drop his cheese sandwich to shoot the bear and I'll have myself a nice little dinner. "

There's a cat watching the mouse. When he notices the fly buzzing above the fish. The cat thinks to himself, "man, if that fly drops 6 inches, that fish is going to jump out of the water, the bear is going to get the fish, the hunter is going to drop his cheese sandwich and shoot the bear, the mouse is going to go for the cheese sandwich, and I'll catch me that mouse and have myself a nice little dinner."

Just then the fly drops 6 inches. The fish jumps out of the water. The bear goes for the fish. The hunter drops his cheese sandwich to shoot the bear. The mouse dashes for the cheese sandwich. The cat in haste goes for the mouse but trips and begins to roll, and rolls all the way down into the water of the pond.


So the moral of the story? If the fly drops 6 inches, the pussy's going to get wet.
