Two men are walking down the street talking about their dislike of Italians when they come across an old Italian man with a monkey on an organ grinder. One of the men puts a quarter in the monkey's cup and receives a kiss on his hand from the monkey.
"I thought you hated Italians," asks one.
"I do," replies the other.
"Then why did you put a quarter in the cup?" he asks.
"Well, gosh darn it, they are cute when they're young."
