The flies are complaining of boredom when one suggests an idea to keep them entertained, "Hey, we should totally have a race! First one to this black guy's bottom lip is the winner!" The second fly can't think of anything better so agrees.
3... 2... 1... GO! Both flies zoom off. As he's flying, the first fly looks behind and doesn't see the second fly and laughs, thinking he's left him in the dust. However, when he lands on the bottom lip, he is shocked to see the second fly there, not even out of breath.
"How?" the first fly exclaims in between breaths, "That's the fastest I've ever flown! How did you get here before me?"
"Well," the second fly said, "I just flew round the back of his head!"
