The tragic tale of the Gregg Family.

The Gregg's had drawn an unfortunate lot in life. There were 22 of them living in a small shack in Detroit, with the rest of the extended family too far and also too poor to give any aid. What's worse, only 4 of them were employed, so there were four incomes paying for 22 peoples food.

The Gregg's tale came to an end one cloudy saturday. all 22 were found dead in their home. It seemed a carbon monoxide leak had caused their demise. The rest of the extended family was heartbroken, but vowed to give them the most dignified funeral they were able to.

Unfortunately, the entire family's net worth was only enough to buy one very large coffin. The family attempted to make do, which turned out to be a horrible mistake.

On the day of the funeral, all 22 ex-Gregg's were shoved into that coffin and brought to church. as the family mourned and the priest was about to speak, the wheeled cart (remember: poor people, poor church) that the coffin was on suddenly started rolling and no one could stop it. Out it went, into the street, where it caused a massive traffic accident which yielded many less casualties than it appeared at first, since many of the bodies at the scene were Gregg's that had flown out of their coffin.

This all just goes to show, however...You should never put all your Gregg's in one casket.
