The snail joke

One day, a man was sitting in his living room at home. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. He opened it to see who was there, and there on the floor in front of him sat a snail, holding a briefcase.
The snail speaks up and asks "would you like to buy some insurance ?" The man replies "get out of here!!" ,and kicks the poor snail all the way down the hallway.
He goes back to his life, and forgets about the incident. About two weeks later, he is again in his living room watching TV, when again he hears a knock on the door. He walks over, opens the door, and there sits the same snail. The snail looks up at him and says "what the hell was that all about ? "....
