The local pet store had a very talkative and observant parrot. Everyday the pet store owner would put the parrot outside to get some fresh air and greet the customers and the people passing by.
One day a very ugly lady walks past on her way to work. The parrot says "Hey lady! You are sooo ugly!" Appalled, the lady storms into the store and chews out the owner.
The next day, on her way to work, the lady walks past the parrot again. "Hey lady!" You are soooo ugly!!" She became irate, went into the pet store and told the owner if the parrot called her ugly again she was going to kill the parrot and file a harassment suit against the store.
The next day the ugly lady heads out the door again on her way to work. She walks past the shop and the bird says nothing. Smiling about her moral victory she gets a few steps past the shop when the bird says, "Hey lady! You know!"
