This subreddit reminds me of a joke since I've heard all the jokes here before. I was once a frequenter of alt.tasteless.jokes so know them all...yes, I was reading jokes when most of you were just an itch in your daddy's pants...
A man decides to have a game of golf and comes across a group of golfers all laughing. He notices how one of group will say a number like "44!!" and they will all burst out into hysterics. The next one will say "OK. OK. 23!!" and again, they will all start breaking out in laughter. Curious as to what's going on, the man approaches the group and says "I couldn't help noticing that you guys were calling out a number and then finding it extremely funny. What's going on?"
"Well" explains one of them. "We've known eachother for so long that we know everyone's jokes. We decided to number each one so that way we just need to say a number and we all can have a laugh over that joke."
"Hmmm" replies the man, pensively.
"Go on, you try it!" invites one of the men from the group.
"OK.... 56!" says the man.
With that, the entire group doubles-up on the floor, writhing in laughter, unable to control themselves.
"Why is this joke so funny?" the man asks.
One of the men replies "We don't know! We've never heard that one before!"
