The family cat had just suffered a horrific accident and had severe blood loss. We brought the cat to the vet, who said that the only way to save our pet was to donate blood. Luckily, we read over the medical papers and it was type AB so anyone could donate blood; I volunteered. The doctor performed the procedure, but alas the cat died. Turned out, it was a typo.
