A sheep herder in North Dakota was out on the summer range with his sheep and getting mighty lonely. He remembered hearing some of the other herders talk about getting so lonely that they would take one of the prettier ewes into the bushes and have relations with it. So out of desperation he grabs a ewe and proceeds to drop his trousers and just as he is about to finally relieve his lust here comes his sheep dog barking at him and nips him in the leg, scaring him away from the sheep!
Later while sitting on a rock and lamenting about his troubles he sees the silhouette of a woman in the distance walking unsteadily towards him. He rushes out to meet her and just as he reaches her she faints into his arms. He brings her back to his trailer and nurses her back to health. Once she has recovered she says to the man, "oh sir you have saved my life and been so kind to me I don't know how I could ever repay you, but is there anything I can do for you? Anything at all just name it."
Well the sheep herder thinks it over for a minute and then says with reddening cheeks "I suppose there is one thing you could do for me. Can you come here and hold this god damn dog?"
