A boy sees a poster for the circus

A boy sees a poster advertising the circus so he begs his parents to let him go see it. After a while, they agree and they all go see the circus. There, the boy see acrobats, lion tamers, and other circus acts and at the very end, the clown comes out. Near the end of the clown's routine, he calls on the boy to be part of a joke, the clown says, "are you a horse's head?" To which the boy replies, "no." The clown then asks, "are you a horse's leg?" To which the boy, again, responds, "no." So then the clown says, "so you must be the horse's ass!" The whole crowd laughs but the boy feels crushed and humiliated. For the rest if his life, he prepares himself so if anyone ever tries to insult him, he will have a quick and witty comeback. By the time the boy graduates college he is the best at comebacks, in the world. Many comedians, and TV show writers go to him to get lines for their routines and shows. Finally, the circus comes back to town and this time the boy feels ready to face the clown (who still happens to work there). After going to the circus, and not being called upon he decides to follow the circus until he gets his revenge. The first time he is called upon, he freezes up and can't remember his line. This happens the second time also. On the night of the final show, he prepares himself and luckily is called upon. The clown asks, "are you a horse's head?" And the boy replies, "no" the clown asks, "are you a horses leg?" And the boy responds, "no" so the clown says, "then you must be the horse's ass!" And the entire crowd laughs, but just after this is said, the boy takes the microphone and yells, "fuck you clown!"
