The Old Man on the Porch

An old man is sitting out on his porch one morning when he sees the neighbor boy dragging a huge bale of chicken wire behind him. He calls out, "Hey Billy, whatchu doin with all that chicken wire?"
The boy calls back, "Goin to catch me some chickens, mister!"
The old man scratches his head, "That's not how to catch chickens Billy!" However, sure enough, later that evening the boy is seen going past with dozens of chickens. The next day, the boy is again seen going past the porch with a large number of rolls of duct tape. The old man yells out, "Whatcha doin there with all them rolls 'a Duct tape, Billy?!" "oh, just catchin me some ducks!" is the boy's response. The old man thinks for a moment and then says, "That aint no damn way to catch no damn ducks Billy!" However, sure as the day before, that evening the boy is again seen going past with dozens of ducks. The next morning, the boy is walking past the house dragging several long branches of pussy willow. The old man looks up, startles and yells out, "HANG ON THERE BILLY! LEMME GRAB MY HAT!"
