The carnival is in town so Bruce invites Garry to spend a romantic warm summer evening with him wandering around the attractions.

Bruce wins a Cupie doll and gives it to Garry. They eat corndogs and cotton candy and both of them are thinking this is the best night of my life.
Then they come across the giant ferris wheel and Garry says “lets go on that big wheel it’s my all time favourite ride in the world.”
Bruce says “I’m so sorry, I’m afraid of heights I can’t go on that wheel, but you go ahead and I’ll watch you from down here.”
Garry reluctantly agrees and lines up to get a ticket then finally gets on the big wheel.
The wheel slowly rotates and as Garry passes Bruce he waves wildly and excitedly at Bruce.
Bruce seems to be preoccupied and chatting to another man on the ground.
The wheel slowly goes around again and once more Garry waves his arms around wildly.
Again Bruce doesn’t pay any attention still talking to some other guy.
Once again the wheel travels around and again Garry is waving like a crazy guy trying to get the attention of Bruce.
Out of nowhere there is a sickening, grinding, crunching sound of metal breaking apart and the whole wheel starts to crumble. Everyone is screaming, bodies are falling to the ground from great heights.
Broken glass, smashed carriages, twisted metal litter the carnival grounds.
Bruce frantically searches for Garry amongst the chaos and mess.
Finally under a large piece of steel girder Bruce gets a glimpse of a maroon jacket just like the one Garry was wearing .
Using all his strength he lifts the girder and sure enough Garry is laying there with his eyes blankly staring into space.
Fearing the worst Bruce leans forward and whispers “Garry, Garry are you hurt”
Garry immediately sits up and yells “HURT, HURT I’m absolutely devastated, I waved at you three times as I went around on that wheel and you didn’t wave back once.”
