In the middle of a class discussion about the present, one of the students says quite loudly, "I was expecting hover boards to be invented by now, If any of you have seen back to the future." I turn to them and say, "Oh yeah? I was expecting a cure for cancer." My friend immediately turns to me and says, "So was my mother." The entire class goes silent except for me and him who are laughing hysterically.
