Skrillex's father began to worry about his boy when Skrillex was still young. Young Skrillex had started shaving the side of his head and growing the hair on top of his hair longer. He'd started listening to strange music.
So the father decided to take his son fishing to have a heart-to-heart. He packed up the gear, drove them both out to the lake, put the boat out, and they drifted lazily out towards the middle of the lake. Lines were cast, and they sat in silence for a while.
After a few minutes, Skrillex's line started to dip. His reel started to run, and so Skrillex heaved his fishing pole up and cranked it back. Finally, he pulled a beautiful fish out of the lake - more than a foot long, bright shiny scales. Skrillex grabbed the fish and started to pull the hook out of the fish's mouth, when suddenly it jerked.
And that's when Skrillex dropped the shad.
