We had a professor who had come for a study tour to our university, all the way form UK.
The guy went around the campus but could barely see a soul. He then went off to the library and to his disbelief he saw that the library was completely packed. People were literally sitting anywhere just to study. He couldn't believe his own eyes.
This went of for the next couple of days and he was just dumbstruck.
He returned back to his colleagues and informed them that he will be applying for a job there. He said that he always wanted to teach kids who were genuinely interested in learning.
He got a job after 3 long months on a working permit.
He was shocked at what he saw on his first day.
The campus was bustling with life and the library, well it was entirely empty with not a soul to be seen. He inquired the other professors.
It turned out that the entire week was an exam week.
