The Royal Geographical Society announced this morning that an EXpidition led by Sir Basil Turner, of Pancheswar gorge fame, have discovered a previously unknown tribal group living along the banks of the Zambezi.
'We tracked the Blighters for weeks', Sir Basil is reported to have said as he was helped from Whites club in central London. 'Couldn't see the wee buggers but I knew they were', he carried on.
Related to the Pygmies of the Congo the Fakawe people are said the the last uncontacted tribe on the African continent assuring Sir Basil's place in history.
Our reporter asked Sir Basil how he had come by the name Fakawe. "Little chaps, they are, no more than 4 foot tall and I imagine they had terrible trouble with the tall elephant. The first time I spotted them 6 of the bleeders were leaping up and down shouting 'We're the Fakawe? We're the Fakawe?'
