I'm sure all you expats know all about 007 a.k.a. James Bond, but do you know where that name comes from?
No, I'm not asking about 007. 007 has always been a code name for the British spy agency since the birth of Christ. I'm talking about where 007 got his name "James Bond".
007 was one day dispatched to take care of yet another typical super-villain who has escaped to China, and the usual stuff happens. You know, spying around, guns, and of course, sex.
After a night of AMAZING SEX with the Chinese double agent the girl exclaimed "棒! 真是棒!" which, in case you don't know, means "great! Real great!" and it is pronounced as "Bong, zhenshi bong!"
So now you know. "Bond. James Bond." isn't about someone introducing himself. It is about someone introducing himself as a sex god.
