At the start of the battle a lone sniper is able to sneak his way behind enemy lines, so far behind in fact that he manages to get a clear shot of the Russian general in charge of the invasion and the German lieutenant that works as his assistant. Knowing the repercussions of this moment, it becomes irritably apparent to the sniper whom he's to shoot first, and so he does. Days later when the Polish sniper is cough trying to escape the area, after days of hiding, he is 'asked' to confess his crime by an interrogator.
Interrogator: Why did you shoot him!?
Polish sniper: He had it coming. It was history whom guided my decision.
Interrogator: But why him?
Polish sniper: Don't you get it, I'm polish.
Interrogator: Yes, you fool. We know quite well that you're polish. But tell us, why did you shoot the german instead of the general?
No answer from the sniper.
Interrogator: Why! dam it.
Polish sniper: Well of course you know, that in life, business always comes before pleasure...
