I am a huge animal lover, teach nature classes to children and run a small farm. Animals adore me, usually, which is why I was perplexed when a crow started attacking me every day on my morning run. It got so bad I had to start carrying a broom with me to fend him off. Then one day a pair of sparrows swooped in and defended me and chased away the crow. And that's the story of how I woke up my entire neighborhood at 6AM by yelling "Ha! I am friend to Mother Nature, motherfucker!"
