A priest and a rabbi...

A priest and a rabbi are in a library, each helping his son with his math homework. The priest's son says, "Aw, Dad, I'm never going to understand this sine, cosine stuff." So the priest says, "Stand up," his son stands up, and the priest gives him a hard, swift kick in the rear. Then the son says, "Wait a minute...unit's circle, pi over 4, tangent...it's all coming to me now!! Thanks, Dad!"

The rabbi, having noticed this, comes over to the priest and says, "I saw what you did to your son and the effect it had on his ability to do his math. Do you think you could do the same for my son? He's really struggling with his algebra." The priest replies, "Silly rabbi! Kicks are for trig!"
