A man named Walter is running in a race

and he's first. He's miles in front, and he's ran 3/4 of the race so he decides that now would be a good time to take a breather. Whilst he's taking his breather, he starts reflecting on all the races he's ran in. "I love the crowds at the end of races but most of the time, they're awful" he thought, "you run these races and the endings are just such a disappointment most of the time, I don't know why I keep entering them, I only leave the race disappointed. Even the big races, the very popular races that draw in the golden crowds suck most of the time. I like the innocuous races. Short and to the point, that's how I like my races. Sure, the crowds aren't as big but I don't care, the smaller the better, less is more sometimes." "I know the crowd won't be attracted to this race" he continued thinking, "it will just end up in the trash like many other races prior. I don't know why I keep running these races to be honest, what do I gain? Is it the hope that one day one of my races will draw in a huge crowd with these golden audiences? Is that my goal? Is that my aim? Isn't that the aim of many of the other runners here, to have their race published for the world to see?"

Just then, he is interrupted by his mate who comes running down the lane. "Hey" he shouts, "Walter you waiting for?"
