When it wakes up, it discovers that somebody has built a wall around it made of white stone with tiny vertical lines painted on it. It asks the painter why and the painter responds very softly so as not to wake up the orangutang sleeping beside them. The lemon then opens the door with its tiny yellow arms and enters the room of the king. The king is extremely frustrated so the lemon leaves the room, lies down and falls asleep again. When it wakes up the painter lifts up the king and places him on the mouth of the lemon.
