So, they gesture their negro to bring 2 beers up to the scaffold with their Hands. The negro nods and shows alternatingly the palm and the back of his hand.

The construction workers don't understand and gesture again to bring some beers. The negro again Alternates between the back and the front of his hand.

Angry, one construction worker comes down and asks "What don't you understand about bringing 2 beers up the scaffold"? Says the negro "But I did understand. I just wanted to ask if you wanted regular lager or dark beer."
