This one's kinda long

Quasimodo is getting a little old, and he's starting to think about retiring. So he puts out an ad in the Paris Times asking for prospective bell ringers to come meet him at the cathedral for an interview. One of the first applicants is a man who doesn't have any arms. Quasi says to him, "I'm sorry, I want to give you a chance I really do, but I just can't see how you could possibly do this without arms."
The man responds, "I understand where you're coming from, but please just give me one chance and I promise you won't regret it."
Against his better judgement, and because it was almost nine AM anyway, Quasi allowed the man one chance.
So they began the climb up the tower, and by the time they reached the top it was only a few seconds until nine. As Quasi began the countdown, he noticed the man tensing up and glaring at the bell.
"3...2...1 Go now!"
The man fixed his feet and charged headfirst into the bell. The resulting ring was beautiful, in fact, it sounded better than anything Quasi had done in his years at the tower. The man staggered backwards and ran at the bell again. By the time that he had struck the bell eight times, the man's nose was broken, he was swaying on his feet, and his eyes couldn't quite focus correctly. Eventually the man caught sight of the bell again and rushed at it the final time. He struck it, staggered backwards...and fell out of one of the tower's windows and down into the courtyard below.
Quasi ran for the window and peered downwards, but he couldn't see anything from such a great height. Quasi rushed back down the tower hoping that the man was somehow still alive, but unfortunately when he reached the crowd of spectators gathered below, he was told that the man had died from the fall.
One of the spectators asked Quasi if he knew the dead man's name, so that his family could be informed. Quasi replied, "I don't know his name, but his face sure rings a bell."
