My friend works as a CNA and was taking care of a patient with dementia/Alzheimer's.

My friend was telling me about the patient. The patient was confused, she would talk to her walking cane. She named it George. I asked my friend why she was in the hospital. My friend proceeded to tell me that the patient used to live in a nursing home and was assaulted by a black female resident. Turns out, they got into a fight and she was beaten very badly; ironically, the other resident used a walking cane to beat her. The other resident actually knocked her unconscious and she fell into a bathtub, where she almost drowned. I was shocked to hear this. Fortunately, another resident overheard the ordeal and rescued her. After my friend finished the story, I calmly asked him a question. I said, did the other resident name her cane Katrina?... My friend doesn't like puns so he didn't laugh. Maybe you guys will. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
