There was a guy who had just bought a pet centipede. This was a different kind of centipede, he could talk, do chores etc.
One day the man asked him to run to the store to get him some milk. The centipede said sure and went on his way.
Some time passes, and the centipede is still not home, which the man thinks is weird. More time passes and the man gets slightly worried so he goes to look outside to see if he can see his pet coming back.
To his surprise, the centipede was on the front porch, he hadn't even left! The man asked him why he hadn't even left yet and the centipede goes "I'm still tying my shoes!"
