He was born in a theater, and as so gravitated to drama and the arts naturally. He had a talent for any performance, and he got straight A's in his drama grading. He went on to study at a prestigious college (and drop out for an art school) and later became a famous actor at Hollywood.
One day, his son drowned at a sailing accident. Juan's wife committed suicide from the trauma and shock. Juan just couldn't take it, he retired from the movie business. He moved back to his hometown, Pamplona, at the corner of town, in the very same run-down theater where he was born.
The salary was little, and the props, tiny, but he was happy and had a simple life. He bought bread from the bakery and ate it, content, on his way to the theater one day. He noticed a sign on the window, which astonished him. "Closing down - Permanently!" His jaw hit the ground. This was the one place for him to relax, and he fought to prevent it shutting down.
He tried and tried, but he failed, in the end. They closed the theater down to build condominiums, to house new immigrants to the country. On the last day of service, he was supposed to play the final closing act, but he was nowhere to be seen. His fellow actors searched for him high and low and found nothing. They finally went to his home, opening the door to see a grisly sight. Juan Carlos, hung by a noose, and a message on the wall in his own blood, written "I'm sorry."
I guess it's true what they say. You can't have Juan without theater.
