To catch an elephant, first dig a large deep hole. One big enough to hold an elephant of course. Then cover the bottom of the hole with ashes. Finally, line the outside of the hole with peas.
Wait for one to come by, and when the elephant stops to take a pea, kick it in the ash hole.
