So my friend has been having unfortunate car troubles with his manual Accord. He tried to start it the other day and it wouldn't start. He took it to the shop but they couldn't find any trouble with it. It worked well for a week, but then the gears started grinding so he took it back into the shop. Once again he was told that the car was fine, but my friend began to have doubts. He spent the next week researching how to fix it, but found nothing. His gears were grinding and sometimes it wouldn't start at all. Finally, he decided to glue 20 cents to the stick and see what happened. Sure enough, from then on out he had no problems at all. This whole time, it seems, he just needed a paradigm shift.
