An old business man...

A business man was starting to show signs of aging. He would be less productive at work, lose track of what he was doing, and the thing that annoyed the people he worked with the most, ramble about what he was doing.

One day, his boss was getting tired of his constant talking so he calls him into his office. The boss says, "Look, I appreciate the years you were with us but I think it's time we let you go."

The man was shocked. He replied "But why?"

"Well, you don't work hard as you did before, and you always talk to yourself. It is distracting to others," the boss explained

"For something as little as that, you're firing me?" The old man exclaimed

"Don't think of it as getting fired,"
The boss said trying to comfort the old man "think about it as a sush pension."
