They set him to cleaning the house and go off to work. They return hungry, and decide to eat dinner, but alas, all the plates are missing.
"Where are all the plates?" They ask the robot.
"I put them in the fire safe." It responds.
Figuring it was for safekeeping, they go to take the plates out of the safe, only to find it's merely full of jagged pieces.
"Why are all the plates like this?" They ask the robot.
"Because," the robot replies, "The sign on the fire extinguisher cabinet says "In 'case of fire', break glass."".
