Two large Italian subs (True story)

This may be also considered a TIFU but this is a true story

When I was 14 me and my mother are sitting in the living room and we decided to order two large italian subs, but

my mother says "I'll pay but you have to order"

So i pick up the phone and dial the number "Hello pick up or delivery?"

me : "I would like to make an order for delivery"

pizza guy (PG from now on): "Okay what would you like?"

me: "I would like to order 2 large italian chubs"

PG: "What?"

*Mother starts laughing

me "Sorry I would like to order 2 large italian chubs.... I mean chubs... WHAT THE FUCK"

PG: "Is this a joke?"

*Mother crying from laughter

me: "Mom I cant say chubs"

*Pizza guy hangs up
*Mother laughing even harder

Me: "I can't say subs!"

Okay finanly I could say the fucking word sub again.

Mom: "Call back and try again"

I pick up the phone

PG: "Hello pick up or delivery?"

Me: "Hey I would like to order two large italian chubs..... OMFG!"

*Pizza Guy hangs up again
*Mother bursting with laughter

This is when I gave up and my mother ordered the subs. For some reason I just could not stop saying chubs.
