Finally able to click X. Tab opens up blaring audio, quickly close tab before it can load prompting you if you want to leave the page or not.
Box appears on bottom right showing you the next article. Web page still blank.
Page finally loads the text. Video box appears on the top of the page with a synopsis of the story.
Buffering...
Ad loaded. No option to skip ad.
Giant ad appears again in the middle of the screen, dimming the webpage behind it.
Click X 47 times before it closes
Page finally loaded, video playing. Press pause on video and scroll down to read the article.
Wonder why you clicked on an article with the title "You've been showering wrong your entire life. Here's why"
Ad loading on the top left of page complete.
Shake your head, close the page and go to whatever news sites you use.
Repeat.
