The Giant won't turn down his music

So, there is a small village. In that village lives a race called the Trids. The Trids are kind honest creatures who enjoy everything from sports to movies.

Well away in the distance of the village there is a mountain, atop that mountain lives a giant. And every night that giant plays super loud and clamorous music. Well this angers the Trids since they are trying to sleep at this time.

One day the Trids decide they have to take care of this conflict. After long discussion the Trids come to a verdict. They decide that they will have to send someone up there to politely ask the giant to turn down his music. The next night one of the Trids hikes up the mountain and comes to the giant's house. He knocks on the door. The giant answers. The Trid says, " Mr. Giant could you mind turning down your music just a tad so we could sleep at night? " The giant laughs, and kicks the Trid all the way down the mountain.

The next day the Trids decide that they will have to try again. That night another Trid hikes up the mountain. He knocks on the door. The giant answers. The Trid says, " Mr. Giant, I please aks you just to turn your music down so we can peacefully sleep at night. " Once again the laughs. The giant raises his foot and kicks the Trid off of the mountain.

The next day the Trids decide that the third time must be the charm. Once again that night a Trid hikes up the mountain to confront the giant. He comes to the giants house and knocks on the door. The giant answers. The Trid says, " I'm so sorry to bother you, but we just want to be able to sleep at night. It's hard when you are playing that loud music. Please turn it down. " And again the giant laughs and kicks the Trid off the mountain.

The next day controversy rises in the town. The Trids are infuriated with this problem. No one knows what to do. In the town meeting that day the Trids discuss for hours on what to do. Finally one Trid comes to a conclusion. He says, " Maybe the giant won't listen to us. Maybe, just maybe if we sned up someone else he will listen. " The Trids compromise and conclude that this is the only option left. The Trids decide that the best person to send up the mountain would be a Holy man. A man of faith. Soon after a Rabi volunteers to do the job.

So that night the Rabi hikes up the mountain. He comes to the giant's house and knocks on the door. The giant answers. The Rabi says, " Please Mr. Gaint could you please turn down that music so the Trids can sleep at night? And could you not kick me off the mountain? " The Gaint laughs and says, " Silly Rabi, kicks are for Trids. "
