3 game devs were finding a hotel to stay at to collaborate on their new game. They walk up to the reception desk, are assigned to the last room, which was on the 600th floor, and are given the room keys. They start their long journey UP. They decide to split the stair section in 200s. The first dev tells ideas for the new game for the first 200 stories. The second dev gives ideas for how they would advertise and sell the game for the next 200 stories. The third chooses to tell sad stories for some particular reason, for the last 200 stories.
After they walk up 400 stories and the first two are finished with their discussions, the 3 dev starts his sad story.
"Hey, guys, wanna hear something really sad?" he says.
"Go on," the other two say.
"Well, I left the keys on the reception desk."
