the first guy goes: 'just a misunderstanding, I was sitting down for dinner with my new girlfriend and asked her if I could have a drink of water. she thought I said 'can I fuck your daughter' and gave me this shiner
second guy says: wow, the exact same thing happened to me. I was sitting down with my wife and I meant to say 'can you pass the salt' when instead I said 'you stupid bitch, you ruined my life'
