And this town is terrorized by a giant monster called the Foo. It's been this way for decades, and most people have learned to cohabit with the Foo, following its many rules to avoid angering it. The Foo is particular in that it is a giant monster that loves art. It loves all kinds of art, but it doesn't have the best understanding of the creation process. It thinks any bit of destruction it causes is art, including pooping on things and even people.
One day a citizen of the town is visited by a friend. He explains the Foo to him, and they go out on their way when they see it. It comes up to them and begins to defecate all over the friend. He, of course, is disgusted and goes to wipe it off when the citizen anxiously tells him "no! Don't clean it off! When the Foo shits, wear it!"
