Punch

A guy and his girlfriend are getting ready for prom, by searching the Internet for the perfect dress and suit. Finally, on the day of the prom, they are satisfied. They drive downtown to buy their new clothes. Unfortunately, many of their classmates also waited until the last minute, and there is tons of traffic. After waiting in a long line of cars to get off the highway, they drive to the suit store. The boy is fitted, and when he goes to make his purchase he is greeted with another long line. After waiting for 30 minutes, he buys his suit. Next, they go into the dress store to but his date a dress. After she is fitted, they get in yet another line to check out. They are next in line when the person in front of them's credit card is denied. After even more waiting, the credit card business was cleared up and the boy and girl were able to buy her dress. By this time it was late in the day, and they were stuck in rush hour going home. Another long line of cars awaited them at their exit ramp. By the time they got home, they were already late to the prom. They got dressed up and left. By the time they finally got to the party, they were both starving, and sick of waiting in lines. They scanned the tables. Chips, huge line. Cake, huge line. Almost every food had a giant line of people waiting for their share. But then, they saw it. The drink table. After a long and annoying day of waiting in lines. Finally. There was no punch line.
