So, a couple years ago, I was really into ghost tracking. I loved the TV shows and thought I'd give it a try. After researching the field heavily, I felt confident enough to form a task group with other investigators of the paranormal. And so began my involvement with the Paranormal Emergency Response Team. We became well known across town as being reliable and honest with our clients. So much so, that after 5 years of responding to calls, we never once found an instance of actual ghosts. I was very let down. While the rest of the Paranormal Emergency Response Team continued working, I ended up leaving to work at a call center. Jump ahead to a few days ago, I got a call on my private line which I had registered as being a former member of the Paranormal Emergency Response Team. The call was from some old lady who said there was something strange happening to her sink. After work, I went over to give this lady some help. It turned out to be a plumbing issue and there was nothing paranormal about it at all, she just wanted to ask me what her best option was. I told her she just needed to replace one of the valves and it would be easy enough for someone to come in and fix. Then I asked, "why didn't you just call a plumber?"
"my son," she said. "I talked to him about the problem and he just told me I should talk to someone with an ex-PERT opinion."
