Message for the moon

I heard this on the drunken Taoist podcast and had to share.

Some astronauts are in the desert. A Navajo sees them and asks what they are doing. They say they are training to go to the moon. The Navajo says some of his peoples spirits are on the moon and asks the astronauts to deliver a message. They agree and learn how to repeat the message phonetically. They ask what the message means but the Navajo says that he would prefer to keep it between him and the spirits. So the astronauts finish their training and eventually find a translator who tells them that the message is, "don't believe anything we say, we're here to take your land."
