Jesus and John

As Jesus hangs on the cross he calls out for John the Baptist, who, upon hearing Christ call for him, scurried up the hill toward his savior only to have the centurions hack off his legs and toss him down the incline. Jesus again calls out "John the Baptist, come unto me" and again John dutifully pulls himself toward Jesus... and again the centurions stop him, hack off his arms and again throw him to the bottom of the hill. Once more Jesus calls for John, who through sheer determination drags his limbless torso along using his chin, and the guards had pity on him and let him pass. John cries out "My Lord, I have come!"... and Jesus says, "John, I can see your house from here!"
