Im writing an english dialogue for two sports commentators and one of them makes a thatswhatshesaid-joke and is being scolded for it by his colleague in a break afterwards, but the audience can hear it, because the audio was still running.
After the break they are back and after some time the one who was scolded earlier says regarding a situation on screen: "It's really the little things that can mean the most." Suddenly his strict colleague smirks and says "That's also what she said, isn't it?"
Camera switches to both of them in full view, the commentator who was scolded earlier stares unbelievingly at his stricter colleague, mouth wide open - and then starts laughing.
Is that a believeable/amusing scene or am I misjudging my own talent for "thats what she said" jokes? I'm asking because I don't want to put it into my video if it just makes me look childish and/or the joke doesn't work.
