so he finds the tallest building in the area and climbs to the roof. While he was standing precariously on the ledge and thinking about all the reasons why he was ready to die, he happens to look down at the street below. There are few people on the street but one man on the corner stands out, even from that height. The man is down there dancing around happily. What really stands out is that the man has no arms. The depressed man is struck by this sight and begins to feel ashamed for what he was thinking of doing. After all, if a man without arms can still find a reason to be happy and dance, why not he as well with his good health and all body parts intact?
So he climbs down with a renewed hope in his heart and bit of a hop to his step. He decides to go and speak with the dancing armless man on the street. Once he is on street level, he approaches the armless man who is still jiggling and swaying like crazy to music that must only be in his mind. The depressed man says, "Hey man, I wanted to thank you. I was just up there on that building ready to jump and end it all when I saw you down here. I figured that if you could find something to be happy enough to dance about, why not me too." He smiled at the armless man.
The armless man looked at him and said, "I'm not dancing, you idiot! I'm trying to scratch my back!"
