A man wants to get to the bakery for some bread , but there is a lake before the bakery and he doesn't find any other ways to reach the bakery. He notices a girl playing near the lake, and asks her "Child , is the lake very deep?" , the girl replies "No , it's not very deep , just about half a feet.
The man , somewhat confused , tries crossing the lake only to be submerged into the water up till his waist. He approaches the girl angrily , and says "Why did you lie to me, the water is very deep!" to which the girl replies "But the ducks touched the bottom , why couldn't you?"
