A man walks into an AMEB waiting room, ready for his violin exam at 11:32. There he sees a friend of his, also prepared for his exam, the one after, at 11:52. They converse politely for a few minutes until the man has to go for his exam. His friend wishes him luck, and they part. Half an hour later, the friend is still waiting, and begins to worry. An hour after that, the man finally returns, and his friend, despairing, says 'What took you so long?'
"Sorry!", the man says, "They really strung it out."
