A health inspector enters a fine dining establishment.

He notices by the kitchen a giant tank of water containing lobsters. It disturbs him to see that the water reaches the very top of the tank and it contains no lid.

Calling over the waiter, the health inspector inquires about the tank.

"Can you explain to me how these lobsters don't escape?"

"They are Irish lobsters," says the waiter.

"What do you mean by that?" ask the health inspector.

The waiter fetches the manager who walks over to the health inspector.

When posed the question about what are Irish lobsters, the manager said that it's the fail safe reason why the lobsters neve escape.

"You see," said the manager, "whenever one swims to far to the top, the rest pull him back down."
