A black boy and a white boy are best friends.

Two boys, one black and one white were best friends. They had great admiration for each other. The white boy says he wishes he was black like him. The black boy has an epiphany and exclaims "Well I want to be white when I grow up!"

Excited about this new decision, he runs home and tells his mother.. "Mom, mom! When I grow up I want to be white!! She's furious and whoops him soundly.

He goes to tell his dad. "Dad! When I grow up I know want to be. I want to be white!!" Dad is enraged and belts him within an inch of his life.

Thinking grandpa would understand.. "Pappy... When I grow up, I want to be white!" Pappy doesn't understand and chases him around the house with his cane, whooping him good the entire time.

Later on, mom sends him to the corner store to get eggs and flour. But as he's reaching into the barrel to scoop out flour, he falls in. He gets out and sees his reflection in the store window. "I'm white!" He shouts with elation, and runs home to tell his folks.

Excited, he bursts into the house and says "Look everyone, my wish came true! I'm white! Mom spanks him. Dad spanks him. Grandpa spanks him. His brother gives him a wedgie. His sister pulls his hair. They're so angry he has to climb out a window and make his escape.

Seeking consolation, he goes over to his best friend's house. "Look!" he said. "I'm white." His friend replies "Congrats! I'm happy for you!"

"But you know what?" Says the black boy. "I've only been white for 20 minutes and I already hate those fucking niggers I live with."
